College Enrichment and Additionality

All colleges are now required to offer enrichment activities. Students can not only learn exciting new skills but also other skills such as drama and coordination. Circus has lots of positive side effects that make it a really worthwhile activity!

Entry 2 Employment - e2e

We have had great success in integrating circus skills with the communication and personal development aspects of this programme. We have assisted tutors in getting their groups to bond and work well together while also achieving educational targets. Communication skills lessons can be based around the circus session or indeed be run as a week long or long term project.

Communication Skills, Literacy and Numeracy

Shaun recently developed and ran a 7 week course for teenagers. The course was built into the Core National Curriculum for literacy and communication skills. Learners not only juggled and learned circus skills they also improved their basic skills. The best thing about this was that they did not mind speaking, listening and writing because it was a fun and worthwhile activity.
